2013年5月和11月分别在中国哈尔滨和意大利阿尔盖罗举行了2013第二届城市规划与可持续发展国际会议，这是继2011年之后的又一次中意双方举办的国际研讨会。本次会议的主题为“城市与乡村”，来自世界各国的专家学者针对城乡规划可持续发展的议题在理论、方法和技术等方面展开了充分的研讨和交流。本书为这两次会议的会议论文集，分为主题报告及三个分主题报告共四部分，精选收录了会议宣读论文16篇。
